Good clips, easy to use

I tried out the AI Clips Generator on a long YouTube video I had. It picked out some pretty decent short bits for TikTok, which saved me a bunch of time. The interface was super easy to figure out, no fuss at all. Happy with how it turned out.

Always reliable for repurposing

I've been using Quso, and before that vidyo.ai, for about a year now to turn my long YouTube videos into Instagram Reels. It's consistently good at pulling out engaging segments, and the AI Virality Score is actually pretty useful for guiding my choices. This last time, I used the YouTube to TikTok Converter, and it was just as reliable as always. No hiccups with processing, and the multi-platform publishing feature really streamlines my routine. I keep coming back because it just works, every time. It saves me hours compared to doing it manually, and the quality of the AI Video Editor has steadily improved.

Smooth experience, decent support

I signed up for the annual plan after using the 7-day free trial to convert a few podcast episodes into shorts. The ordering process was straightforward, and the confirmation email arrived quickly. Delivery, meaning access to the platform, was immediate. I had a small question about the Video Resizer tool and contacted support via chat; they responded within an hour and provided a helpful answer. The AI Subtitle Generator worked well, though I did make a few minor edits to the captions for accuracy. Overall, the quality of the generated clips and captions was solid, making my workflow much easier. It's a reliable tool for content creators.

Can you stack coupon codes on Quso? Got an influencer code but also saw a Black Friday deal, wondering if I can combine them for a bigger discount.

A Alex 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can't stack them. Most of these services only let you use one discount at a time. The Black Friday one is probably better anyway if it's 40% off.

S Shane Torres 2 months ago
Sadly no, pretty sure their policy says discounts can't be combined. You gotta pick the best one for your first year, usually applies to annual plans too.

I heard Quso used to be called Vidyo.ai. Is it basically the same thing just rebranded or did they change a lot of features too?

R Rosa Beaumont 2 months ago
It's basically the same thing, just a rebrand. They kept all the core features and added some new stuff over time, but the main AI clip generator is still there.

F Faith Osei 2 months ago
Yeah, same core product, different name. They just changed it to Quso. Functionality wise, it's an improvement, not a downgrade from Vidyo.ai.

Anybody know if Quso does a student discount? I saw something about it but can't find a direct link or info on their site.

T Tom 2 months ago
I remember seeing that they do! Check their FAQ page or maybe try contacting support directly. I think you usually need to verify your student status somehow.

Yeah, I think they have one. It's usually a pretty good deal too, but I think you have to apply or something, it's not just a promo code you can find easily.

Trying to decide between Quso and OpusClip. Anyone have experience with both and can tell me which one they liked better for generating quick TikToks?

E Emma Nguyen 2 months ago
I've used both. Quso feels a bit more robust for editing and customizing once the clips are made, especially with the brand kits and multi-platform stuff. OpusClip was good for speed but less flexible for me.

Quso for sure. The AI B-Roll and scene detection on Quso are way better, at least in my experience. OpusClip felt a bit more generic with its outputs.

Does Quso support 4K video uploads? Or will it downscale everything automatically?

N Nick 2 months ago
Yeah, it handles 4K fine. I upload my gaming footage which is all 4K and it processes it without an issue. The output quality is good too.

M Mike 2 months ago
They totally support 4K. I've uploaded high-res video files and never had it downscale unless I specifically chose a lower export setting.

Hey, thinking about trying Quso. How long does it actually take to get clips from a long video? Like if I upload a 30 min podcast, will I have shorts ready to go in minutes or hours?

M Marcus L. 2 months ago
It's pretty fast, dude. I threw in a 45-min YouTube video last week and had like 5-6 short clips generated and styled within maybe 10-15 minutes tops. The AI virality score thing is kinda neat too.
4
C Colin C. 2 months ago
Yeah, definitely minutes. Not hours. It depends on the video length a bit but even for an hour-long one, I've never waited more than 20-30 mins for the initial cuts to be ready. Then you just review and tweak.

If I get the annual plan for Quso, what happens if I need to cancel before the year is up? Is it a pain to get a refund or am I just out the money?

J Jared B. 2 months ago
I've heard cancelling annual plans can be tricky with some services. You'd probably need to check their specific terms. Most likely you just don't get charged for the next year, not sure about pro-rated refunds.
6
R Rachel 2 months ago
I haven't cancelled an annual myself, but I'd guess it's like most subscriptions where you pay for the year upfront and then it just doesn't renew. Refunds for partially used annual plans are rare.

Is the Quso free trial actually useful, or is it super limited? Wondering if I can really test out the features before committing to a plan.

T Tara 1 month ago
The 7-day free trial lets you mess around with pretty much everything. You get to upload videos and generate clips, I think there might be a limit on exports or something but you can definitely get a feel for it.

A Alex 1 month ago
It's good enough to see if it works for you. I used it to test out the auto-captioning and editing features. You can definitely see the quality before paying.
